Danish skate, competition, and event extraordinaire, Morten Engmark, has come up with this brilliant idea of renting two rock-star band busses to go to Winterclash – fully equipped with x-boxes, flatscreen TV, wifi, full-size bunk beds with nice mattresses, and perhaps most important of all: free beer!

The great thing is that, when you’re on it, you’ve got everything in one: you don’t need to rent a hotel or worry about how to get there. We made it! Winterclash.com is finally online and packed with all the information. It took us almost half a year to fix a location, handle loads of problems on our way and make sure to guarantee an enjoyable Winterclash 2010.

This event is the first step into the direction we think the Winterclash needs to be pushed. The way into the public eye and into the media. A step in a direction we need to go to push the thing we call Rollerblading and a step in a bright future with people finally realizing what this sport is about.
It’s time to spread the word about our sport, our community and about the love we share.

The Winterclash 2010 is an event which transports all of the things above, but first of all and most important, it’s an event FOR YOU!

Together with our top professionals, wild amateurs and outstanding girl skaters, and together with a crowd traveling to Berlin from all over the world we will enjoy the weekend of the year in one of the greatest cities in this world.

Don’t miss the first event in the brand new Zero One Six skatepark in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The competition is on November 28th, but events have been planned the whole weekend. Don’t miss out on an event in possibly the best indoor inline skatepark in Scandinavia!

This year’s Camp 42 contest is held in Vejgaard skatepark in Aalborg. The event starts on October 16th and ends on October 18th. The contest itself is held on October 17th.

The legendary Copenhagen skatepark, located in “Fælledparken”, is about to undergo a total make-over this winter and the next spring. In October 2010, a completely redesigned skatepark is going to open. Check out an animated tour.

The renovation starts in October 2009, where the demolition of the current park is going to start. The skatepark is then going to be closed for a full year until it re-opens in October 2010.

It is the 152 million kroner donation by the “A. P. Møller Fonden” to renovate the entire Fælledpark that is the cause of this project. The rumor is that over 10 million of those is going to be used to build the new skatepark.
