I’m considering buying some new skates. I’ve been thinkin’ about the new Razors Cult 8. They’re not that expensive, but are they worth the money?

They’re not in the stores i Denmark yet, but will be released 11th of July.

I’ve got some Cult7’s wich are the same except for the color and all I can say is; they’re tight fit. Buy at least 1½ size down! That way you can put your favorite liner in them, because the stock liner isn’t that good. And they’re ugly in the larger sizes (44 and up).

Besides that they’re durable, long lasting and lightweight skates. Good stuff for a good price in my opinion.

I, myself, am shooting to buy new skates too. After 2 year and a half my poor M12 started felling apart, ruined screws are falling off while i’m skating, the cuff is just holding itself to the boot for like a milimeter, started making funny noises :D and so on =) So i am thinking of going on Razors, but i don’t know which is better. G7 or aragon 2? The money won’t be such a prob since i have a good payed student work, will just need to wait a bit longer for the aragon 2’s if i’ll go for them. With any of these if was thinking of buying Kizer carlos pianowski frame from UHMV material so the skates would last reaaaaally long. Then it comes to bearings, i’m looking at crap, are they really good as they say? Atm i’m skating renegade abec 7 and they are really long lasting, don’t know how it goes with the crap, or maybe renegade swiss bearings?

get the aragon 2’s, nobody has said a bad word about them, they are head and shoulders above the genesys boot.

better soul system,lighter, better bs plate.

if i didnt have 2 pairs of skates in my cubpoard i havent skated yet, id get a pair.

As far as bearings go, viscious for me have been the best.

Linx; what size do you got? SL’s are the same as cults; in larger sizes they really do look dumb and frames on those sizes are always too small. I myself have got G7’s, and I’m convinced now that I should stick to genesys. I’ve been on a lot of brands but Gen’s fit me the best. I just love the damn backslideplate, slapped some NIGHT souls on them, and some balance cores and hey presto; Flare’s ultimate skate.

And on a lighter note: Cults got the same feeling as M12’s.

Sorry I mean SL’s (Aragon2’s). I got my Night souls from Forward Freestyle, Hedonskate also has them in stock.

In sizes; it really depends on what Razors you’re getting. Cults and SL’s are rather tight fit, Genesys are quite true to size.

cults are maybe the best skates ever, unfortunately the size I had doesn´t fit me know and also bad is that razors use the worst liners for them etc, so the best is to get only boot without liner and frame

I would really love to skate them, they are just perfect for soul and royale tricks and for landing, great lock on….....really good skates but not with the actual liner, where are the times of shima cults …

yeah me too, because they are too small, I don´t understand it, I´ve used cult 4´s with sinister liner, same size same liner and now I can´t get to them, seem to be smaller than before to me.

Yah, they’re really tight around the toe-area. The rest is just fine, except that I really need a shockpad in them. Wich makes them even tighter, obviously.

So, when are you going to change your name back to Neefrit?
